BITC NI Environmental Benchmarking Survey

At SHS, we are committed to improving our environmental impacts and are delighted to receive a Silver Level in the 2023 Business in the Community NI Environmental Benchmarking Survey.

The NI Environmental Benchmarking Survey is an annual event that scores organisations on the measures they take to improve their environmental impacts. Over 120 organisations from a range of different sectors measured and reported their environmental impacts. Northern Ireland’s most sustainable organisations were revealed at an event to announce the 2023 results, organised by Business in the Community NI.

The survey is a self-disclosure exercise that offers organisations a way to be externally assessed and scored on their environmental efforts and performance. Participating organisations are provided with a Gap Analysis Report to help them identify areas that need action and highlight where they are performing well. The survey scores, recognises and rewards organisations that go above and beyond their legal environmental requirements.
