Job Description
We are looking for a Cook Room Supervisor who will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the cook room, ensuring that all preparation and cooking tasks are carried out efficiently and meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities/Duties
- Lead and manage a team of cooks, offering training and support, and ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Guide the team in executing site plans related to plant, personnel, and processes for their shift.
- Ensure daily operational plans and key performance indicators are met effectively and efficiently, while maintaining a high level of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Experience/Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of experience in a Supervisory Cook Room or mixing department role.
- Expertise in sauce preparation and cooking techniques.
- Food Safety Level 2 or higher.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work early morning shifts and weekends.
