Job Description:

Reporting into the Regional Field Sales Supervisor, you will have responsibility for a defined sales territory ensuring that you manage, develop, and maintain good customer relationships, that sales budgets are achieved, distribution for all brands owners is maximised especially for SHS Group Brands.

You will have responsibility for dealing with general day to day queries, responding to delivery and product / brand related queries in a timely manner whilst always maintaining an excellent level of customer service.

You will be a focused and conscientious individual, with a strong customer service skills and administration background. You will have demonstrated the ability to work within a team and understand the needs of working in a fast paced environment. Preferably you will have experience within a similar role, with excellent written and verbal, communication and IT skills.

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Ensuring that you deliver on agreed quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Develop and promote "Best in Class" store execution
  • Strong customer relationship management - Maintain and cement existing customer relationships and develop new relationships at an operational level
  • Maintain a strong level of both product and industry knowledge
  • Assist with Maintaining and growing market share for brands represented by SHS Sales and Marketing
  • Maintain accurate records for your Sales Territory
  • Liaise with other areas of the business to provide the best possible service
  • Liaise with the Business Managers where necessary and participate in trade shows, training and marketing activities as required

Experience / Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the FMCG market is essential
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload
  • Organised and Tenacious to ensure that your defined sales territory is maximised
  • Demonstrates strong process in all your work
  • Professional manner – articulate with excellent written and oral communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
  • Numerate and IT Literate
  • Has an ability to adapt quickly to change
  • Enthusiastic, friendly and able to work as part of a team

Additional Information:

  • Track record of building relationships and delivering commitments across all areas of a Business
  • Customer focussed, with a cross functional approach
  • Proven to use own initiative and take ownership of issues
  • Previous experience within this sector is desirable
  • Must be available and willing to travel and overnight as and when requested to do so by the business
