Role Purpose:

To work as part of the Sales Team to support the Field Sales Manager, Field Sales Supervisors and Business Managers to collectively surpass joint business plans. Where appropriate lead project initiatives, to create new and improved ways of working with a goal of being seen as ‘Best In Class’ within the FMCG sector. Ensuring both internal & external objectives are delivered.

Responsibilities:


  • Liaising with FSM, FSS, BM’s, and various teams within SHS Group Shared Services so as that agreed promotions are activated correctly via the FST’s to ensure top line and bottom line growth is optimised.
  • Build relationships and develop contact with appropriate divisions in order to have a wide contact matrix. To participate in monthly / quarterly meetings Account Review and Sales Meetings where required to discuss next quarter key milestones such as new lines, off shelf promotions & forecasts with key stakeholders where required. Build relationships at all levels.
  • To review NLF’s and ensuring all is correct as agreed by Busines Manager
  • Providing additional selling support for key customer meetings with BM’s & FSM
  • Ongoing distribution review of our own brands & competitor brands customer feedback via retail accounts and reporting back regularly as to how our brands & competitors are performing / promoting
  • Work with the commercial planning function to deliver best in class reporting to support the business cycle
  • Take responsibility where required for production & management of all Field Sales collateral with guidance from the wider team for customers as required.
  • Prioritise own tasks & duties to deliver team objectives.
  • Other ad hoc/admin duties as and when required.

OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE

  • Review of agreed products, promotions, pricing and new listings within all key customers and ensuring that Internal system is correct by running appropriate reports to advise Field Sales Manager and Business Manager. Also ensure to confirm go live of promotions on day 1 where applicable. Attend Internal Supply meetings where required.
  • To ensure that agreed new listings are set up correctly on to the SHS systems and the customers portal where necessary. Ensure key reporting & tracking of NPD is set up & actioned ongoing.
  • Completing where appropriate CPAs, Customer New Line Forms and & other account related set up forms as may become necessary & as directed by the Business Manager.
  • Review any new listings, delisted lines or changes in distribution and to ensure these are highlighted to stakeholders.
  • Obtaining relevant and necessary data for validation and release of customer promotional invoices where necessary / required.

Qualifications:

No specific formal qualifications are required.

Experience:

Experience in a similar role within an FMCG organisation would be advantageous.

  • Computer literate with Confident use of Excel.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and to work collaboratively with internal and external customers at all levels.
  • Practiced ability to complete tasks quickly including the capability to multi-task.
  • Must be able to use own initiative whilst being flexible and adaptable to customer’s needs.
  • Proven Time Management skills in relation to changing workloads.
  • Good organization & prioritization skills.
